Afterpay made a holiday donation in the name of their retail partners to empower a GLAM4GOOD teen mentoring initiative.
Afterpay is an installments payment platform, that encourages responsible spending. Customers are able to pay off their fashion and beauty purchases in 4 equal installments, every 2 weeks, with 0 interest. Afterpay is committed to empower the next generation and this donation will support one of GLAM4GOOD’s teen events for 150+ underserved high school seniors to mentor and prepare 2019 graduating students for college interviews, job interviews, and career opportunities.
Afterpay has a mission to give back and finding organizations that empower women is in line with our goals as a company. We’re proud to be working with the GLAM4GOOD Foundation to help support the organization’s empowerment platform that uses style as a catalyst to honor courage, bolster self-esteem, and dress people in need. It’s incredibly inspiring to know that our donation will go towards teen events that provide mentorship to 2019 graduating students for college and job interviews as well as career opportunities.
The GLAM4GOOD Foundation has built an interactive, experiential curriculum around self-esteem, confidence, fearlessness and the power of presentation to enhance and promote entrepreneurship in high school teens. This event features an assembled panel of fashion industry visionaries that share ideas with the students which they can use to empower their dreams and plan for their aspiring futures. Following the panel, students are invited to participate in a GLAM4GOOD #SHOPPINGSPREE4FREE where the students can “shop” and select work and interview appropriate fashion and accessories from dozens of designer brands, as well as receive eye exams, skin care, personal care essentials, beauty products and optical eyewear all free of charge.
