This Giving Tuesday, the GLAM4GOOD Foundation wishes to thank you for your support of our mission to empower the lives of women, girls and their families going through some of life’s toughest challenges. GLAM4GOOD helps our recipients with a variety of different self-esteem enhancing forms of support including new clothing, accessories, personal care products, and confidence building services and experiences. GLAM4GOOD empowers 6 impact pillars around several areas of giving.
As the year closes, our thoughts are with the families in California who have lost their homes and belongings due to the devastation of the Camp and Woolsey Fires, the deadliest and most destructive fires in state history. Remaining true to our mission year round, we ask you to help us help these families as we raise funds on Giving Tuesday to hold a California Wildfires Disaster Relief Initiative.
Vetted by our community partners in both Northern and Southern California, our recipients do not have adequate insurance or savings to buy desperately needed new apparel and personal care products.
With your help, this GLAM4GOOD charitable effort will aid and assist families by providing recipients with new women and men’s workwear, children and teen clothing, sportswear, undergarments, sleepwear, socks, shoes, accessories, beauty products, and hygiene essentials. This initiative will also deliver eye care, eyewear, skin care, personal care, and grooming services and home essentials like towels, blankets, and sheets.
Your generous donations will help GLAM4GOOD restore wardrobes, ease hardships, and provide emotional support and encouragement to the victims of this tragedy as they continue to recover and prepare for the challenges ahead. Our goal is to help 1000 recipients rebuild their lives. Please DONATE today to help us meet that goal.
How can I volunteer at Glam4good?
Hurricane Michael hit the gulf coast of Florida on Oct. 10th. It was a cat 4-5 storm and it has devastated the communities of Panama City, Lynn Haven and many others in it’s path. 4 months later it still looks like a bond went off, with debris everywhere
and thousands of people are homeless.
The CA wildfires were horrible, and I don’t mean to insinuate that this is not a good cause.
But for your next fundraising effort, I would like to suggest aid for the victims of Hurricane Michael. A little Glam would go a long way to bringing up these people’s spirits.
I hope you’ll consider it.
Thank you,
