OVER 50 BRANDS PROVIDE WINTER COATS & ACCESSORIES
350 women and girls in need were empowered with style by some of fashion’s biggest brands and stylists. The GLAM4GOOD Foundation threw a shopping spree for free for widows of fallen NYPD & FDNY; Syrian refugees now living in New York; homeless teens; disadvantaged young female athletes; mothers who have lost kids from gun violence; and women and teens from domestic abuse shelters.
GLAM4GOOD Founder Mary Alice Stephenson, joined by television personality and best-selling author Stacy London, and many of the GLAM4GOOD Board’s renowned celebrity stylists — Adam Glassman, Ann Caruso, Ty Hunter — gave back in a big way at the BKLYN BUNDLE UP! Over 50 leading fashion designers and retailers signed on to participate in this City Point Pop-Up Shop, donating winter coats and cold weather accessories to deserving GLAM4GOOD recipients: women, teens, and children in New York City. The event, part of the GLAM4GOOD Foundation’s ongoing empowerment program, was hosted at City Point in Downtown Brooklyn on Saturday, November 19th.
Special THANK YOU to the Mama Foundation’s Gospel for Teens for breaking into song at this event! It was an honor to pamper them with GLAM4GOOD.
