

Ellen Maguire, Senior Vice President, International Beauty, has over 15 years’ experience creating high-impact strategic communications programs for leading international brands. Currently, Ellen leads the global beauty division of leading luxury communications firm Karla Otto having successfully established the division in the US, UK, France, Italy, Germany, HK and mainland China. Ellen previously served as Director, International Marketing and Communications for Tommy Hilfiger where she led the execution of fashion and corporate public relations efforts across Asia, Mexico, Latin America, India and Australia. Ellen served as Vice President, Global Communications at Aveda (The Estee Lauder Companies) where she oversaw 18+ markets. Ellen began her beauty PR career at Revlon, Inc., and her initial foray into communications was as Director, Corporate Communications and Special Projects for Ralph Lauren. Giving back is in Ellen’s DNA as she joined her parents and siblings in volunteering for environmental and social causes from a very young age. Her passions include Glam4Good, the Humane Society and a variety of community service opportunities in and around New York City. A global traveller Ellen also seeks out ways to bring joy to others while exploring new countries.
Rob is an investor and advisor to 40+ startups in the technology, marketing, organic food, beverage, fashion and lifestyle spaces. Rob is also an investor and mentor at Boomtown, an AdTech and HealthTech startup accelerator, as well as SecureSet, a startup accelerator and coding school focused on Cyber Security. He is also a mentor at Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network.
Rob is currently co-creating “17Solutions”, a radical new social impact business accelerator. 17Solutions, in partnership with multinational corporations, NGOs, non-profits, governments and universities, will help launch startups that capitalize on new marketplace opportunities that scale solutions solving the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
Rob also co-founded COMMON, a unique Social Venture launchpad and consultancy, which encourages start-ups and mid-stage companies to develop new enterprises addressing social issues and challenges, all under the aegis of a shared, collaborative brand.
He also co-founded FearLess, a strategic communications consultancy, that is igniting a movement for new capitalism among global enterprises. Later Fearless became Fearless Unlimited, the first social impact agency of its kind, in partnership with Disney and Univision.
From 2010 to 2015, Rob was also a Chief Advisor to Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project, which he helped name, brand and re-position, as a global thought leadership and climate action organization.
Rob Schuham was a Founding Partner of Undercurrent where he consulted with global, complex corporations and nonprofits on far-reaching digital strategy and organizational transformation, helping them become more agile and responsive to a new 21st century landscape. His clients included GE, American Express, Estee Lauder, Ford, AB InBev, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Communities-in-Schools and many others. Rob sold Undercurrent in 2015.
Rob was also a founder and CEO of Action Marketing, a 20-yr old award-winning experiential and digital agency, concepting and executing what’s never been done before for brands such as adidas, Nike, Ford, Nissan, McLaren, Clif Bar, PepsiCo, Progressive Insurance, Dole, the NBA, Heineken, Moet Hennessy and many others. Rob sold Action Marketing to Toronto-based Match Marketing Group in 2012.
