World-renowned makeup artist James Kaliardos brings a unique combination of glamour and chic minimalism to the realm of fashion photography. He has collaborated with photographers Annie Leibovitz, Steven Klein, David Sims, Steven Meisel, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Peter Lindbergh, Mario Testino, Paolo Roversi, Richard Burbridge, and the late Richard Avedon, Irving Penn and Helmut Newton. His work can be seen in American, British and Italian VogueAllureW and V Magazine. He has created looks for campaigns and runway shows for Balenciaga, Chanel, Hermès, Fendi, Versace, Jean Paul Gaultier, Yves Saint Laurent, Rodarte, Dior, Y-3, Rochas, Lanvin, Mugler, DVF, Lacoste and Anna Sui, as well as campaigns for L’Oréal, Revlon, Shiseido, Cover Girl and Victoria’s Secret. In 2003, he became the consultant for L’Oréal Paris, the first makeup artist to hold this position in the company.
